Why is there no estate agent?

An estate agent is not a legal requirement to complete a house sale in Ireland.

They carry out three distinct services in the process of property sales.

  1. Marketing of a property.
  2. Showing a property to interested parties.
  3. Handling bids.

We have taken on the role of marketing the property through this website and other media channels.

It is not possible to show interested parties around the property due to the current Covid-19 restrictions.

Offers will be considered in isolation. An offer will either be accepted or rejected. There will not be a process in place where two or more interested parties can submit counter offers. The first offer to be accepted will progress the sale of the property to “sale agreed”. Offers submitted after this point will be considered as back-up offer only.
